CONTI Cares

CONTI believes deeply in its core values, each other, the common good and the ability to positively impact the lives of everyone we touch.

In return, it’s very important to us to become involved with organizations who are creating positive change at the human level, elevating communities and inspiring those around them. Here are few we are currently working with and whose work we want to celebrate in 2019.

CONTI Cares Buckner

Buckner International

https://www.buckner.org/ — Buckner International elevates lives. Their programs seek to engage through family assistance and community events; equip families through education, financial empowerment, child and youth development and spiritual development; as well as elevate families through family coaching, counseling and spiritual enrichment. Buckner’s new presence in the Bachman Lake area will make a direct, positive impact on the region and help CONTI continue to make a difference in a community where we have a strong, existing presence.

Vogel Alcove

https://vogelalcove.org/ — Approximately 3,000 children in Dallas go to sleep each night without a home of their own. Since 1987, Dallas’ Vogel Alcove has been devoted to helping young children overcome the lasting and traumatic effects of homelessness. Their highly trained teachers and staff provide therapeutic early childhood and school-aged programs, family support and physical/mental health services, all tailored to the needs of homeless children ages six weeks to 12 years old. CONTI is proud to contribute to the amazing work Vogel Alcove is doing.

Paper For Water

https://www.paperforwater.org/ — Founded in 2011, Paper For Water has raised over $1.5M and has helped fund over 190 water projects in 20 countries. The success of this non-profit began with the determination of Katherine and Isabelle Adams to help impoverished areas gain access to clean water and an improved quality of life. Five and eight years old at the time, they learned a child died every 15 seconds from unclean water and how girls in developing countries often did not go to school because they were hauling water all day. CONTI is proud to assist Paper For Water in their efforts to improve the lives of others.
